For the second time, I got to deliver remarks at Ashland’s Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society Initiation Ceremony.
I don’t know why, but I’m always stoked to get a chance to speak in this kind of capacity. It’s different than teaching, different than delivering a literary reading, different than hosting an event. I wish there was a literary genre for “remarks”; I’d probably focus on that for my career…
Congratulations to the new initiates (Chloe, Weston, Cadence, Jessica, Eiley, and Sam), and thanks for having me, Josh, Maura, and Sigma Tau.
